Historically, one of Cornwall’s
industries was in tin and granite. All up and down the coastline of
Perranporth, large stone structures are riddled with passageways and caverns
from previous mining. “You’re looking at about 2,000 years of mining
development along these cliffs,” said one man. Some remains can still be found,
so these men come out each day and search rocks open in hopes of finding tin and
minerals.
