Good Morning, Friends! Today is a lovely day in Cheltenham - crisp temperatures with sunshine and some clouds. I am currently sitting in the upstairs loft of Starbucks, Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand, planner on table, writing to you! Today will be a good day - Mommy and Daddy land in just about a half hour and will be in Cheltenham by this afternoon. I can't wait to see them.
Friday Morning means market time as well! I haven't been over to take a photo yet, but one of these weeks, I will take my camera with me and take a picture to post. All kinds of things are sold - from Cornish pasties to apple dumplings to fresh picked veggies. The sounds of Cheltenham are everywhere - children running around, couples chatting over morning coffee, a business man late for work rushing through on his phone.
Today also marks the start of the Cheltenham Literature Festival. There are many exciting events and talks by famous authors - students are able to get tickets at a discounted rate, so I may attend some of them. Looking at all the events makes me remember my childhood and life love of books and writing. Words are a funny and powerful thing...they have the ability to build, destroy, inspire...
Until next time,
Beth
