"History shows that all protest movements rely on symbols - boycotts, strikes, sit-ins, flags, songs. Symbolic action on whatever scale - from the Montgomery Bus Boycott to wearing a simple wristband - is designed to disrupt our everyday complacency and force people to think" (Hugh Evans). During our first visit to Bath, we encountered protestors standing outside of Bath Abbey standing against war. There were about six of them, and were sometimes joined by people who would hold a 'temporary' sign provided for them. We so often see and sometimes join protests and people moving against something they disagree with. People passionately take a stand on issues that matter to them and hope that their voice will be heard in some capacity.

I don't know how, but the English manage even protesting with the highest classiness!
