In Chipping Camden, we found in the historic market area, piles of sheepskin for sale. It is a trade that is still alive and well in smaller areas of England. The skin was so soft and the owner told us all about the different types of sheep. I never knew just how soft sheepskin could be - it was pretty tempting to buy one and attach it to my winter coat! The skin he is holding, is the most common one - your typical white sheep. It has been treated and combed out - definitely one of the softest things I've ever felt.
How beautiful! They LOOK soft too!
