Hello Readers!
I'm afraid as things begin to wrap to a close that I've fallen pretty far behind. I'm so sorry for this! Here is a post with highlight photos from Edinburgh. It remains the favorite city of my visit, with Oslo in a close second (more on that soon!).
Above is the lovely tea room we found on the Friday we arrived. It was called Anteaques and sold both afternoon tea and antiques.
The Socttish countryside lived up to every expectation - Victoria's family took us to see the Kelpies. I loved this landmark quite a bit.
Dunbar was beautiful. I loved seeing the beach and we found a lovely little tea room. The Dunbar Cathedral was massive and impressive from the outside. Unfortunately, a wedding prevented us from looking around inside.
The very last day, we stumbled upon a Rememberance day parade proceeding from the Castle to St. Giles' Cathedral. It was quite impressive and awesome to see the traditional Scottish garb. We also found a small 'Alice in Wonderland' tea room - I think it may be my favorite.
Just 11 days to go now...Countdown has begun. I shall do my best to continue posting. More soon! Beth
